We officially kicked off reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelation! We explored God’s creation as described in the first chapters of Genesis – and the beauty nature provides us today; among other thoughts.

I found it very interesting that on several occasions in Genesis the importance of dreams and the message that God was sending via dreams.
I finally finished Genesis today! Will be moving on to Exodus.
As I finish Genesis today I recognize the importance of knowing our scriptures beyond reading the Gospels. As I prepare for this week’s sermon, Jesus’s transfiguration, he is accompanied on the mountain by Moses and Elijah. Without an understanding of these Biblical figures, we can not fully grasp the meaning of the transfiguration!
